L’UMR 7194 "Histoire naturelle de l'Homme préhistorique" est une UMR (unité mixte de recherche) du Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), du Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle (MNHN) et de l'Université de Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD).
Participe à l'acquisition, au prétraitement (surfacique, photogrammétrique, tomographique, vidéo..) et au traitement (reconstruction virtuelle, modélisation 2D/3D…) de données dans les domaines de la Préhistoire (Paléoanthropologie, Archéologie et Archéozoologie) et de l'Anthropologie évolutive, biologique et culturelle, à partir de techniques, méthodes et logiciels de production de données d'imagerie, appliquées aux modélisations virtuelles en Sciences Naturelles et patrimoniales et en Sciences humaines et sociales.
